Config App Connection Issues

Device not showing

If your gamepad will not display in the config app when you click Connect.

Troubleshooting

  1. Ensure that you are using a USB-C cable that supports Data + Power.

  2. Ensure that the gamepad is booted into a compatible mode for configuration.

    1. Hold the A Button while connecting the gamepad to boot into Switch Pro mode.
      This will ensure that the gamepad boots into a compatible USB mode for
      configuration purposes.


Device shown, but it won’t connect (Windows)

On Windows, sometimes the USB device registry can have conflicting entries, preventing the configuration app from properly connecting to the gamepad
