Disassembly Guide (Super Gamepad+)
This is the disassembly guide for the Super Gamepad+.
You will need a Phillips PH1 screwdriver to follow this guide.
Primary Disassembly
Super Gamepad+
Start by flipping the controller to its rear side. 5 screws are visible from the back.
Use your screwdriver to remove the screws.

With the screws removed, the back cover easily lifts up and off. You may also remove the L/R triggers at this time.

Trigger PCB
The trigger sub-PCBs may be removed. In this example, we have the tactile trigger PCBs installed. The sub-PCBs are installed using a simple snap connector.
Be careful to lift the connector directly up to avoid tearing off the ribbon connector

Battery Disconnect
The battery may be disconnected. It uses the same connector type as the L/R trigger boards.

The PCB can be lifted out of the main shell

Battery Clip Removal
There are three screws holding the battery in place with a nylon clip.
Remove these screws to free the battery.

The battery clip is a 3d printed piece. The battery may be replaced with any battery compatible with Joy-Con controllers.

Buttons and Membranes
The membranes easily lift away from the front shell.

Metal pads sit between the ABXY buttons and the membranes.
