Download Necessary Files
Firmware for your Gamepad
First, you’ll need to download the appropriate firmware for your gamepad.
You can obtain the appropriate .uf2 firmware file for your device at this link:
Enter USB Bootloader Mode
Config App Method
Navigate to the HOJA Config App page on a Desktop device (Windows, Mac).
Connect your gamepad with the Connect button.
Enter the Gamepad section.
Click the Bootloader button.
You will see RPI-RP2 populate as a USB thumbdrive in your FIle Explorer under Devices/This PC.
Manual Bootloader Method
With the gamepad powered off, hold the Plus + L buttons together.
While keeping those buttons held, plug in the USB-C connection to your desktop device.
You will see RPI-RP2 populate as a USB thumbdrive in your FIle Explorer under Devices/This PC.
Install Gamepad Firmware
Drag & Drop the appropriate firmware.uf2 file to the RPI-RP2 flash drive device.
Alternatively, right click the firmware.uf2, and click Copy.
Open the RPI-RP2 flash drive. You may see a few files inside the drive. You can ignore these as these are just help documents. Right click in an empty space in the folder view, and click Paste.
As soon as the firmware is finished copying, the gamepad will reboot; The firmware update is complete!

Optional - Device Full Reset
If you need to wipe your controller configuration and start fresh, download this Nuke.uf2 firmware file.
We recommend this only as a last resort.
Enter USB Bootloader mode, then copy the Nuke.uf2 file to the RPI-RP2 flash drive.
The device will automatically re-connect as the RPI-RP2 flash drive once more, with all firmware fully erased from the device.
Finally, flash the appropriate firmware file for your gamepad.
