Hoja Firmware Info
What do these flashing lights mean?
On all of our gamepads which run our firmware, sometimes you may see a flashing LED and the meaning is not clear.
Make sure you are fully up to date
See our HOJA FW Installation Guide if the configuration app is giving you trouble when updating!
Know the controller boot process
When you power the controller on, it will briefly flash a single color, which indicates the current gamepad mode
Color | Mode |
|---|---|
White | Switch/Config |
Green | XInput |
Blue | SInput (Steam) |
Cyan | Slippi (Dolphin) |
Red | SNES |
Yellow | N64 |
Purple | GameCube |
Why is the LED flashing still?
The flashing LED indicates a lack of connection status. For retro wired modes such as GameCube/N64, the flashing light indicates no connection with a game console.
For USB modes, the flashing light may indicate that the gamepad has not yet been initialized.
For Bluetooth wireless modes, this indicates there is no pairing, or that the controller is not yet connected to anything.
