ProGCC 3 / 3S (Wired)
The ProGCC 3 and ProGCC 3S are the wired ProGCC boards: a Pro Controller-style board with USB-C and ports for real consoles, no battery or wireless. They run HOJA firmware and are configured with HHL Gamepad Config. For the wireless boards, see ProGCC 3+ / 3.1 / 3.2. The wired-only ProGCC 3.2 is covered there too, since it uses the same ProGCC 3.2 firmware.
Wired | USB-C, plus GameCube, N64 and SNES/NES with a Retro-C cable |
Wireless | None |
Extras | Gyro, rumble, RGB lighting |
The 3S uses the newer RP2350 chip. Once a USB update from the app has installed the HOJA bootloader, update mode shows a drive named after the controller. Before that, or in the chip's own bootloader (BOOTSEL), the 3S shows up as a drive named RP2350 (the ProGCC 3 shows RPI-RP2).
Sync button
Tap Sync to turn tournament mode on or off. It disables the D-pad, Home, Plus, Minus and Capture, so they can't be pressed by accident in a match. The LEDs flash green when it turns on and red when it turns off.

Hold a button while you plug the controller in. Full table: Modes & Pairing.
