Switch Pairing Issues

If you’re having issues pairing or connecting to Switch, follow these steps.

Go to Settings on your Switch home menu.

Scroll down to Controllers & Accessories and press A.

Scroll down and find Disconnect Controllers. Press A.

Remove the Switch system from the dock.

Press and hold X to unpair all controllers.

Hold the Power button on the Switch tablet.

Select Power Options.

Select Power Off.

Wait 30 seconds after the tablet has shut down, then power it back on and try pairing again.

To pair, hold Power and Plus together when booting into Switch mode.
