What is ProGCC?

ProGCC is a custom controller project that uses the shell and ergonomics of the original Pro Controller for Nintendo Switch.

Originally, it was only intended to imitate a GameCube controller and provide the benefits of the shape of the Pro Controller.

Version 3 boasts some impressive features over the original two versions.

Features Overview

Multiple Input Modes

  1. Supports Nintendo Switch (Emulating a real Pro Controller).

  2. PC support with XInput at 1000hz.

  3. Native Slippi mode supporting 1000hz.

  4. Retro modes using our Retro-C cables to connect to all retro Nintendo consoles up through the Wii.

GuliKit Hall Effect Joysticks

Both analog sticks are magnet-based sensors, meaning you can experience zero drift for the life of the controller. The analog sticks are easily calibrated using our configuration app.

Dual Motion Sensors

The ProGCC 3 kits feature dual IMU (Inertial Measurement Units) onboard. This was a feature initially explored by Input Labs. See the research detailed here: https://inputlabs.io/blog/dual_gyro

This means smoother and more responsive motion input across all of your games.

RGB Lighting

Fully customizable RGB LEDs beneath the buttons and analog sticks. There are 2 different animation modes as well as a static LED mode.

Rumble

Rumble is supported on Nintendo Switch and Desktop devices. GameCube mode similarly supports rumble. Rumble is supported with ProGCC V3.2 for N64.
